Born in Tehran, Neda spent her formative years in England, returning to Iran after the revolution amid the Iran-Iraq war. This profound shift, with its cultural and religious disparities, profoundly affected her perception of life both as a child and as a woman in the Middle East. As an artist, she chose to express her experience as an Iranian woman navigating this tumultuous era.

Given the presence of religion and the numerous taboos in her culture, she began by internalizing her experiences. Persian culture’s multifaceted beauty compelled her, she immersed herself in poetry, music, and exquisite miniatures for inspiration. Her art has exhibited worldwide with traditional paintings, alternative prints and in the recent years NFTs.

Global residencies have enabled her to absorb different cultures, blending each experience into her creative pallete. Neda currently reside in a serene garden in the Alborz province. Here, removed from Tehran’s hustle, she crafts her work.
