- One of the reasons we love and pick our artists is their need to make social commentary. This work is part of a series of works addressing the plight of the homeless street child . The way that humanity can drive past them , ignore them , taking little to no notice that a CHILD is on the street , with no home , no bed , no safety or security with little hope for the future . Michele references the city pigeon that has adapted to its environment in order to eke out a living , yet is seen as a surge on society… much like most street children are viewed .
