Born in June 13, 1981, in Kwa Mashu, Durban, Jabulani Douglas Cele grew up in Dube Village, Inanda, a community rich in cultural traditions. Immersed in this vibrant environment, Jabulani developed a profound appreciation for the arts and began experimenting with drawing and painting from an early age.

Jabulani’s artistic potential was quickly recognized at Kwa Shembe Memorial School, where teachers and classmates alike took note of his talent. He further developed his skills at Mzuvele High School, participating in various art competitions and exhibitions. His determination and passion for art paved the way for his future career, setting the stage for his journey as a professional artist.
